Aromapsychology for Aromatherapists

How we respond to fragrance is mysterious, multifaceted and highly individual. This one day class uses an evidence base to explore how we think, feel and behave in response to odours and leads the practitioner to reflect on how to maximise fragrance impact for therapeutic effectiveness. After first exploring neuropharmacological and psychological mechanisms, we then look at different aspects of aroma on mood, cognition, learning and memory, expectation, behaviour, context, culture, gender and age.
